1. Who we are

Cafewaala (“we”) operates this website, a cafe discovery platform. You can reach us through our contact form.

2. What we collect

Information you send us through forms: your name, an email address or phone number, and your message.
Basic technical data needed to serve the site (e.g. IP address in server logs).
Anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, country, device type) through Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and can't identify you.

3. How we use it

To reply to you, review cafe suggestions, keep the site secure and improve it. We do not sell personal information.

4. Third parties

Messages sent through our forms are delivered to our inbox by an email service provider. Videos load from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) only when you press play. Maps load from OpenStreetMap. Direction links open Google Maps. These services have their own privacy policies.

5. Retention

Form submissions are kept for as long as needed to handle them, and deleted on request.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Just ask through our contact form.

7. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change.
